Welcome to our tips page! In this section, I'll share some of the lessons I've learned over the past few years. I've created this document to share some useful widsom that may come in handy sometime.
Use trusted payment processors
"Payment Processors" are the companies that authorize your payments and collect the funds. To be safe, use websites that utilize trusted companies with a good reputation. Currently, CCBill, Verotel (TicketsClub), and 2000charge are pretty reliable. In my personal opinion, CCBill is the most reliable and has the best end-user experience.
Zombaio and IOBilling give me the shady vibe.
Always use the same credit card
If you ever need to cancel a subscription, or contact customer support, it's a good idea to have your credit card information on-hand. If you use multiple credit cards, it can be a mess to figure out which one you used at a particular time, so stick with one.
Get an e-mail address just for porn
For one, most sites will sell your e-mail address to advertisers, so keeping your real e-mail address from them is a good idea.
However, the main reason to use a single, porn-only e-mail address is to keep all your subscription/receipt e-mails together in one place. If you are managing subscriptions to multiple sites, you'll need to keep your e-mails on-hand to store your login information, and to get your subscription IDs when you decide to cancel.
Always cancel your subscriptions immediately after subscribing
Websites make a majority of their profit from users who forget to cancel their recurring subscriptions. To avoid accidentally being charged after 30 days, just cancel your subscriptions right away. You won't lose the time you already pay for.
Of course, there are some websites that I choose to support by maintaining a recurring subscription. However, unless you're 100% sure that you want to be re-billed, always cancel your recurring subscription the moment you've been given access to the website content.
Use a download manager
Using a download manager, you can "queue up" downloads so that you don't have to sit at the computer and manually start downloads over and over again. Many sites will limit the number of simultaneous downloads, so simply going to all the files in your browser and clicking "Download now" will not work. A download manager allows you to automatically download multiple files easily - less manual clicking on your part.
Additionally, you can use your download manager to throttle your download speed. Since your browser naturally uses all your bandwidth when downloading files, you can't really browse content and download files simultaneously without suffering from long load times. Cap your download speed so that you can have some bandwidth available for browsing.
